your best guess is spyder and tippman, just a tip though in spyders the more expencive it is the worse it works and stay away from the mr series. I got a vs1 and it works great. tippmans are great but more money. You choose

Spyders are good guns. Any bad things you hear are due to user-error – typically, newer players are the ones that get spyders, and it’s newer players that don’t yet know how to maintain a paintball gun. Nothing wrong with that, except for those that don’t bother to LEARN how to maintain the guns, then these same players start bashing products. Pretty sad.

Anyway, spyders & tippmanns are both good brands. Partly depends on your budget and partly on your preferred style. Woodsball, i’d recommend Tippmann. Speedball, i’d recommend Spyder.

However, other companies have started moving into these beginner gun price ranges, offering better (imo) options than spyders & tippmanns. Smart Parts has the Vibe & Proto has the SLG, although the SLG requires hpa/compressed air (not too big of a deal, as hpa tanks keep getting cheaper & cheaper, you just need to have access to refills).
