Tippmann X7 Phenom Paintball Marker Review and Shooting

Review of the Tippmann X7 Phenom paintball gun. Comes with flexvalve technology. It is a spool valve by Tippmann. Electronic but also has mechanical features, which let it shoot if the battery dies. Works with CO2 or compressed air. Operating pressure of 300. Built in reg. Selector switch for different mods. Programmable. 5 firing modes. Cyclone Feed system. Easy to assemble and breakdown. We show you how to field strip it. A few pins hold it together and make it easy to take apart. There is little kick on it, and the stream is solid. Pulling the trigger 3 times in less than 1 second puts it in full auto. Auto response, turbo, semi auto, etc. The manual has more details. Consistent on the chrono. Definitely a good job by Tippmann Sports on this paintball marker. vvv READ BEFORE ASKING THE SAME QUESTIONS vvv Setup: Tippmann 98 Custom -E-Trigger w/ WAS Board -14″ J&J Ceramic Barrel -Tipp. Collapsible Stock -Cyclone Feeder OK, so i dont have to answer to half this repeated crap anymore. E-Trigger = 0 Cyclone = My CAR Stock = i believe The J&J Ceramic = ish -Yes I would recommend the J&J barrel. -Yes i would recommend the cyclone, but not for anything over 15 BPS unless you feel like modding it. If you absolutely NEED 30 BPS then spend more $$ and get a Halo B. -No, Im not going to tell you what upgrade you should buy next or what barrel you should get. -You change modes and setting by hitting the little button inside the grip and watching the LED flash, Im not going to explain that further, its called “read the manual”. -The E-Trigger is for the 98C, the E-Grip is for the A-5. -The E-Bolt is for old 98C’s and Model 98′s. -The E-Trigger will fit newer 98′s without ACT (serial # above 880000), and all the newest models with ACT. -Yes, CO2 sucks, I’m not a dumbass. HPA is more consistent and can function far better in lower temperatures, of course I want HPA, I just have better things to spend money on at the moment. -No, you can’t put HPA in a CO2 bottle, or vice versa. If you did, you’d most likely kill yourself and win a Darwin Award for saving us from your strain of DNA in the gene pool. This is not meant to insult the first few people who posted these things but Im already starting to see alot of the same questions

    how much does it cost

  17. trentger1 says:

@ferdinand12390 If you run out of batteries in game, you simply set the switch to the middle option, and you can continue to shoot in semi-auto.

  18. ferdinand12390 says:

put if the battery dies, does it still shoot in auto mode? or just in semi? then if it can fire both w/o battery, whats the case on having an egrip?

  19. TheJack0Phantom says:

What marker is better if you want to customize your gun Tippmann A5, Tippmann X7, or the Tippmann 98? And if you can I would like to see a website where I can get barrels, shrouds, stocks, optics etc

  36. crissangel1697 says:

    @MonkySPIRITHCLAN $146.14 on paintball guns.com

  37. 1pacpal says:

@ABlackLegend Your right I don’t know anything about the sport . Too expensive for me to even care

  38. ABlackLegend says:

@1pacpal Well, clearly you don’t know anything about the sport, because anyone who is above 12 and has a gun mostly likely knows that a 98c can have an e-trigger.

  39. 1pacpal says:

@ABlackLegend No I’m just not obsessed with paint ball

  40. ABlackLegend says:

@1pacpal im guessing you dont have a paintball gun…

  41. 1pacpal says:

how do you full auto your tipman I had no idea you can even do that

  42. lemonade89t says:

    good

  43. MonkySPIRITHCLAN says:

what did u payd for only the gun plz reply.

  44. supercow707 says:

so this is a good gun becuase i was thinking of buying one

  45. blahdyblahable says:

@GoldSaboteur I would suggest it. I’ve had a 98 Custom for five years. They are not expensive, highly customizable, and I’ve never had a problem with them chopping paint, being inaccurate or anything. Also easy to take apart and clean. It likely isn’t the best gun for speedball just stock but you can upgrade it. Most speedball players I believe use higher end guns that shoot fast and cycle well, but I prefer out in the woods. For a weekend in the woods, any Tippmann is a great choice.

  46. mrkittycat110 says:

@GoldSaboteur it depends…. the gun is great for woodsball. so if u play woodsball consider purchasing it.

  47. GoldSaboteur says:

should i buy this? I’m new to paintball, but i have used this gun once and like its feel, but again, im new are there better guns i might want to look at

  48. zacharycombatarms says:

how do u turn it on and off and witch hole do u press in?

  49. punchmaster123 says:

@DCvideos59 no. i have this gun and i use compressed air all the time. it actually works better with compressed air.

  50. Triforcecity says:
