Q&A: What kind of paint is good for painting a paintball gun?

Question by Garrett Arnold: What kind of paint is good for painting a paintball gun?
I just recently purchased an Sp1, and want to put a camo paint job on it… The last time I tried to do this with a paintball gun, it didnt work… every time paint hit the paint on the gun, it melted it off. Does any one know of a paint that i can get from like walmart that will stay on and last?

Meant for airsoft guns, but the same process. You might want to see if you can find a place that can do a camo anodizing job on it, or have the anodizing removed before you try to paint it.

anodizing might help. but also any crylon paint should do the trick is to put s clear coat over it at lease 2 coats if you can then the paint wont chip off.
