Is a Tippmann 98 custom a good paintball gun to start out with?

Question by Jonie K.: Is a Tippmann 98 custom a good paintball gun to start out with?
Also if you could give me a website or something on a good place to buy paintball gear, that would be very helpful. Thanks!

It’s a pretty good beginner woodsball gun. It’s durable, reliable and needs very little maintenance. It also has a lot of upgrades and parts available for it. A good place to get paintball stuff is www.actionvillage.com. Hope this helps!

    - Yes actually, it’s a perfect gun for starting out. That was my first gun, and I still use it every time I play. Like said before, it is very customizable and can be an AMAZING gun (I have a stock, pressure trigger, flatline barrel, and other accessories for mine). Also, for a good website, there are a few that are good. Here they are:

Tippmann is a very good name they are kinda heavy but durable and powerful. Tippmann 98 is a good beginner gun. I have a Tippmann a5 and it is the best you can customize it how you want. Hope this helps!

yeah it’s a great gun but i would go with the A-5 if you want to upgrade it, it’s a little better gun and it looks better with the mil-sim parts
