Hey, Im a big airsoft guy but my buddies wanted to go paintballing so I was wondering how much more a paintball hurts then like getting hit by a .2 BB at 350 fps.

Airsoft is more like a sting, paintballs are more like being punched.
Both are not that bad, if your used to getting hit with .20s you should be fine.
Most of the time if the ball breaks not much more than a hard flick if you have a layer or two of clothes on. If someone goes cheap and buys walmart paint, you can expect a good bruise though.
After you get hit around 7 or 8 times you start to not notice it as much.
Its typically a small sting but it also depends on how much your adrenalin is going and how close you are when you get shot.
I personally have been shot point blank in the fingers and exposed arms to where there was a little blood but I barely felt it due to the adrenalin.
well for starters paintballs hurt alot more then airsoft, paintball hurt alot more if the balls dont break but when they do the shell breaking cushions the hit and once you get that adrenaline running after a few shots they wont hurt as much but just in case get a neck protector. i got shot once in the neck and i didnt like it!
A .20 stings but a paintball stings. I got shot point blank with metal bbs and trust me it really stings.It cut through my skin and now my finger skin is off and its still healing.
